TWO POEMS BY LONGTIME FRIEND DEDEE BENREY

To Tammy on Valentine's Day 2004

A 1st Valentine for Tamara

Welcome to this World of Life
And to your Mom & Dad.
They will be there to comfort you
When things seem rough ... or sad.

Here's a Little Valentine
That comes straight from my heart:
Reminding you there's Joy and Hope
And Light when things seem dark.

Tell your folks I say, "Hello."
(A great big "Mazel Tov!")
They waited for you for sooo long -
You are their Gift of Love.

Manny & Naomi, you are both in my heart ... Tammy stays in it too: That's now my 4-ever valentine to her. xo, Dedee

In Honor of Angels

If I could wave a magic wand
I'd take away your pain
And bring you back to better times,
To see your child again.

If I could wave my magic wand
I'd sail you through "The Mists;"
You each would see her in G-d's hands ...
By sweetest Angels, kissed.

I wish I had a magic wand
To give you sudden faith.
But I can only pray to Him
To gently ease the strain.

And pray to Heavens up above
To bless your little girl
And thank G_d for the little time
She touched & blessed our world.
